Film reviews:
The Bang Bang Club: 2010, Director: Steven Silver, starring, Ryan Philippe, Malin Ackerman, Tyler Kitch, 106 Minutes
Set in South Africa at the time just prior to the free and fair election of Nelson Mandela, four photo journalists start working together to get the events and times documented. The setting is the suburbs of South African townships.
A powerful rendition of the brutal proxy violence lent to the white rulers by the Zulu class as they kill and terrorize the stoppage of work and strangling of the economy by the supporters of Mandela and nonracial election.
Two Pulitzer Prize winners play a naivety in the winning at the cost of lives,no intervention in the brutality going on, gives the photographers a presence above the fighting. That is tenuous and uncertain.
The acting is powerful and if you don’t condition yourself to the fact you may go away thinking it was actual footage instead of reenactment.

This film rates for documentary value Good to very good.
Product Review: Star Bucks Via Italian Roast Coffee
Dark rich a little tart; this coffee lets you know its coffee. No substitute an after taste placates the most hardened coffee lover with satisfaction. The roost renders up a great taste to sip and savor.
For those that know the difference this coffee rates good.
Restaurant review: Sushi Gardens
Nicola and Garcia Merritt BC, a red top and a round view with good booths and fair privacy. The Sushi in this restaurant is authentic and subscribed to by about 4 Korean bus tours a day.
Clean and quiet with a substantial menu the format makes for a good choice for a semi intimate outing with a date .
Parking is about the building in the circle of its round demeanor so you can watch your vehicle if so inclined. For people that want a different meal with a sense of the exotic and in a safe setting this restaurant rates, good to very good.
Coffee Clutch Merritt Desert Inn
Each early morning locals gather in the coffee shop of the Merritt Desert Inn. The coffee and conversation is free flowing, and vibrant. What’s gone on in the night is often discussed and the format is over the joined booths. The clutch usually clears out in time for travelers that are interested in a breakfast. Has there been a fire or an accident? chances are you can get a slant or fact on what has recently happened.
Donny and Buddy Nelson (frequent patrons) and Doris the head waitress all conspire for an informative and broadening coffee experience: Unrated.

Film Review: A Room with a View: Helena Carter, Denholm Elliot, Daniel Day Lewis.
EM Forster‘s: A Merchant Ivory Production: 1985
This film is a classic it is right in the middle of contemporary romance set in Florence, Italy is a blasé with style and class of the English and Italian upper crust. The film address’s the age old conflict of control in romance and the issue of love and release. It has the context of purity making possession and status even more of a draw.
Characters such as Miss Honey Church and Maggi Smiths role as Luci make a delicious formula for gentle women, spinster, and novelist to test and prod and live as a betrothed couple wrestle with the question of love or arrangement in marriage.
The great Christian edifices described as works of faith, being characterised as “‘you didn’t pay the workers’ “shows candour and a tone allowing for the decision to find love over control a tension of plight. However the plight is clocked in class and style and must be discerned in that way.
No conquest in marriage or tennis to apply. The film is delightful and a bit naughty to the sensible and graced of life. Classic and enduring worth to be seen by counter culture advocates and fans alike.
For the classic question of love verses ownership this film rates ***** Excellent
